Background
Several years ago, I was talking with an old art sage. He told me that he had set up a one man art show to exhibit his oil paintings. He found that he had extra wall space at the exhibit area. He called a friend and asked her if she wanted to "hang with him". I immediately seized the mental moment and nailed that clever phrase in an analytical, shallow crease in my brain. When I decided to give birth to my dream website, I had the site name that fit my intentions.
" Hang With Me " has taken a long time to mature into a physical web site. It will probably take a long time to develop content. But I am feeling that my content should take its own sweet time. In fact, a website is little more than an extension of the artist's creativity. And I tend to be a little slow to create.
Challenge
There appear to be millions of sites. They are everywhere. On every subject. But exactly how do you make it to the web and why? How do you want to present yourself to the world? And, really important, how do you build a website that will allow personal flexibility, creativity, and control? Good questions! I will discuss these thoughts and issues as time progresses.
Plan
My simple plan is to frequently add content. This content may cover:
- Painting "show and tell"
- Art Gallery for paintings and drawings
- Art Gallery for photography
- Referral to my new media site www.AssistiveTechnology.TV
- "Just Fred" Thoughts and Ramblings
- Upcoming: The Afternoon Morning Show
So, the journey begins. . . come "Hang With Me".
